About Defending My Faith
Growing up with a family of Christ followers was a lot different than many in the world. That was taken for granted for the longest time. Sitting back, letting others walk-around blind is not what Christ wants us to do. For that, I’m guilty. Changing that is important to me so their path is lit and finding the answers to questions they didn’t know to ask.
The Mission
Life is a waste without a goal or direction. Having the right goal is what keeps us on track when we stray. Having a moral compass keeps us going in the right direction. That’s better than letting feelings and opinions cause anyone to be misled. A feeling is for a moment. If we all reacted with feelings, there could only be chaos. Feelings are great and wonderful, adding nuance and color to our world. Feelings should not be a cornerstone for how our important decisions are made.
Faith in the One true God, combined with knowledge, faith and understanding will go further than feelings and/or faith alone. Lots of research and study has taken place before this effort took place. This site has been created because of faith in the God.
Values
Truth, honesty, integrity are words and ideals. Because so many have not lived up to those, we doubt anyone and everything. What a dark way to live life. I too am one that has not lived up to those words or ideals. That is why we need to look to the One that has and is and always will.
Meriam-Webster’s definition of Holy:
Exalted or worthy of complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and righteousness.
God is Holy. The Holy Bible was shared with us to give us insight to understand a Holy God. We are not holy. We are not worthy. Everyone has sinned and fallen short. Christ came and was sacrificed. Those believing in Christ shall have everlasting life.
